More about JAL_Camper

Born in Cincinnati, OH and moved to NC back in '68. Stayed in NC and graduated from NCSU in '83 in Civil Engineering, becoming third generation Civil Engineer, following father and his father, my grand father. Currently work for NC Utilities Commission.

Started camping in a tent at the age of 9 months, back in the summer of '60. Went on a total of eight cross-county, tent-camping trips to visit relatives in Oregon and California. Stepped foot in all of the Lower 48 and camped in most.

Started camping with current family back in mid 90's in a tent. Moved to a Rockwood pop up in '99, Rockwood Roo Hybrid in '01, and current TT in '05.

Can't wait to retire -- may be as early as 2013 -- and do some serious RVing. Goal is Class A, DP, 38-42', 3-4 slides, with a 10k tow. May also consider Fiver. Would like to try full-timing, at least for a dozen years or so.

Happy Camping . . .
