How Sweet It Is!
2008 Itasca Meridian 37H, Freightliner XC Chassis, Allison 6-spd MH3000, Cummins 6.7L TurboDiesel, tow: 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan. (Took Delivery 3/12/08) More about kjames90755 We're both travel agents, and now are able to travel with both of our dogs and my cat (decided by who's shoulders he gets to walk up to {and who tolerates claws}). My partner of 16 years and I have decided that it's cheaper to drive an RV than it is to buy 2 airline tickets. (So far we've been right) Including campground fees and gas, then subtracting for the convenience of having our own car and a nice place to stay when we're done visiting friends or seeing shows we're still ahead, even at $4.009/gal. + Insurance and Storage space monthly. And that's saying something as being in Southern California we have to drive over the Grapevine or Cajon Pass to get anywhere significant (like Las Vegas), and a couple friends we see regularly requires us to go over the Livermore grade, and back, or back over the Pacheco Pass Hwy. We've upgraded to a new DP Itasca Meridian 37H as of 3/12/08! kjames90755's Signature 2008 Itasca Meridian 37H, All. 3000MH (6-auto), Freightliner XC Chass., Cummins 6.7L Turbo, (Sweet! Delivery 03/12/08). Tow: '07 Dodge Gr. Caravan, Me, Him; Sugarbear, Apr. Toy Poodle; Pepe, Blk Toy Poodle; Hero, fat Siam.-mix polydactyl cat/Alarm Clock.
