RE: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace Arrows

JIM, If you look up a few posts (there is a photo), are you talking about that large metal plate that is welded to the frame?

RE: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace Arrows

Thanks Jim, If that goes the car would go anywhere and would not stop until it hits something. The hitch receiver, safety chains and break away switch would go with the car.

RE: Drinking from fresh water tank...

Bottle water, no if's, and's, or butts. One week of sitting in the bathroom of your motorhome while on the road because you drink water from your tank will sure make bottle water look good and you would never ask this question again! :-)

RE: Disneyland RV Park

Last week I stayed at Anaheim Resort RV Park 714-774-3860. It was easy to get to from the Interstate and they had several long pull thru for big rigs. Sites are paved and the park was very nice and clean. The Disneyland bus picks you up at the RV park every 20 mins and short ride to Disneyland and back. You can see the fireworks from your rig at nights. The only bad part, there is a grade school across the street, but the good part is the school is fenced in and they can only get into the school from the next street up. We hardly seen any kids. We would go back again.

RE: hwy 101 from San Francisco to Golds Beach Oregon

Steve Great trip, you will love it. Done it with 39 foot M/H towing a Malibu. Like stated above, you will not make any driving time but you will love the drive. A few days we only drove 30 miles and stopped for few days to see the area.

RE: Pet Unfriendly FMCA SEA Rally

Thank you FMCA..... No pets rule is the only way to operate an area where there is a large group of people. AS far as posting the long list of reason is not needed because everyone knows the reasons. Keep up the good work....

RE: Thousand Trails - Can you just Quit?

Friends were considering TT Membership and one of the questions they had was "If you get to a point in your life where you no longer use TT, Can you just stop paying the yearly dues and let it lapse? " Are there repercussions or does the membership just go away........? Tsalla Apopka, I hope you got the info you wanted. It got off topic in some posts from what you asked.

RE: Thousand Trails - Can you just Quit?

If you go to www.thousandtrails.com they have a program called Ready Camp Go where you can buy limited amount of camping nights to use at their parks. This way you can see what their parks are like without a saleman around. Then, if it is what you want and can use Thousand Trails, then buy a membership.

RE: Thousand Trails - Can you just Quit?

There are so many different Thousand Trails memberships out there you will get so many answers to this question. You need to check with Thousand Trails if you are going to buy a resale membership, or contact their sales department for a new membership. If you want a limited time "on the hook" talk to the sales department to put that in the contract and read it real good. My contract had a 10 year hook, which was over many years ago, so I can sell my membership or just send it back and forget it. But, I read on forums that if I resale my membership, Thousand Trails will put a new hook on the membership. Don't know if this is true or not, again contact their sales department for the details.

RE: Thousand Trails Leased Sites!

how much do they charge for the extended stay? Each park has different prices and rules that comes with the extended stay and lease. Find the one you want and give them a call. You can pay by the month, the season, the year and three year lease. If you are not a member, you can buy a one park membership and stay at that park. You can find a lot of info and phone numbers on their web site. I know there will be some post coming on this but a member is a member, one park or the whole park system, a member is a member.

RE: Thousand Trails Leased Sites!

I agree that TT is the best deal around. The purpose of my post was not to knock the company. I simply believe that if enough members band together, this objectionable policy can be changed. Someone responded above that the people who lease these premium sites do not have to be TT members. I think this is extremely unfortunate. Any additional thoughts? Members banding together? Remember there are a lot of members that like the lease program. I for one think this is a great program, sometimes I like to take a break from going park to park every two weeks. There are TTN areas that I like to stay for the complete season.

RE: Refrigerator Problems (Dometic 2 door)

Brian Good question, my stort was on the electric side going to the heat probe but after some work I found it. Start in the back and check EVERY connections. Take each one apart, look at it for corrosion then connect it back making sure it is a good connection. If you don't find it in the back, you need to go inside and take the top pannel off and check those connections. If nothing is loose and it still acting up, you might have a service guy to look at it. But, I would check for loose wire. My find was easy to see, when I took the male/female connection apart it was burnt. You could not see it until you pull the connection apart because the plastic cover hid it. Good luck

RE: Thousand Trails Leased Sites!

For the traveling RVer, Thousand Trails is still the best thing out there.
