RE: 454 reducing temp when hill climbing

From your description I believe your engine is running completely normal! It should run 180*to 210* NORMAL. Climbing a grade 210*To 230* -fan engages temperature drops back to 210* This is normal operation. What temperature do you want it to run at?

RE: Class A and kids

That big picture window windshield can be a real PAIN. the sun can burn you up and also hard on the eyes for an all day drive. My third M/H,same problem. We put up curtains on the side windows that helps. my 95 Dutch Star had a smaller windshield, much better.

RE: Workhorse brake fix??????

You would be putting in the same "problem parts" you have now.Corrective parts will be installed in the recall.Suggest you wait.

RE: Headlight adjustment on 07 Bounder

Sounds like you're adjusting the mounting screws. The adjusting screws usually have springs on them. The headlights should aim slightly to the right.

RE: Lets hear from FT class A gas

We have lived over 18 years in a Class A . Never regreted not going DP.We used to travel 8000 to 10000 a year. Now 4000 to 6000.Never had to change the suspension.Second M/H 1995 Dutch Star was overloaded coming out of the showroom. Still no problems. We would have preferred a DP but didn't want to pay for it.

RE: Removing Fuse 09 Honda

I added a charge line after the battery went dead twice. If you tow only one day, should be no problem. You can start tow during stops also.

RE: poor man needs advice

I toured the Gulfstream factoy. Not impressed!!!!! They use 1000's of staples. Look inside the cabinets and closets for workmanship. I would not buy. There are many better made rigs. See NEWMAR!!!

RE: 454 temp

M/H and autos etc are engineered to run at 200-210. Thats where the engine performs best.A thermostat controls the minimum temperature of the engine.
