Nice desert photos, Pete!......

I agree, Pete. These are some of your best photo's, I think.

Thank you! How's that Beatles song go? "I get by with a little help from my friends." Besides reading the camera's manual, I've also read emails and pm's intently that have been sent with constructive advice. I really value them, keep them coming! My pleasure is capturing an image and sharing it here with everybody to enjoy.

Sunrise in northern Utah yesterday.

This is where I worked yesterday.

It sits on the banks of Fall River in Idaho.

A 31 image stitch overlooking the expanse of Canyonlands National Monument. Click on the small image below to bring up the large one and then click on the large to see it full-sized. I do not recommend this if you have less than high speed Internet access. (I know it's the same thumbnail I used on the Arches pano, but trust me... heheh)

From the large to the small. The drought has really killed the flowers I enjoy shooting, but found one rose that looked promising.

Looking north from Berthoud Pass on the west side of the Front Range. If you travel from the Granby/Grand Lake area back to I-70, you'll go over Berthoud.

The saddest thing in this photo are all the dying lodgepole pine trees on the mountain side at the left of the photo. Literally millions of lodgepoles are dying across Colorado and Wyoming.
