What a sweet picture of Grady and his new Family.

It reminds me of the photo of my Grandchildren, Katie and Andrew, when Lola first came to her new home. For those who do not know we met Richard and Sue at the Georgia Border to bring Sadie/Lola home to Missouri.

Congratulations to Grady he is one lucky dog.

Don't feel too bad, 2 days ago, I was backing our trailer into the driveway. I got way off course but figured I could correct it if I drove on the grass a little. I managed to recover and got the trailer back going the right way but I was so fixated watching behind me, I didn't see the tree aiming driver side mirror! I figured it out right about the time it went CRUNCH and ripped the mirror off the car door!

I'm still glad it didn't dent the car or the camper, mirrors are easily replaced! I still feel a bit of a fool though!

Glad you are ok and Grady got his new forever family!

Richard, glad to hear you and Sue are ok, just damage to the fixable things. But it is a bother. Sorry to hear of the troubles. These tire blowouts are worrisome. On our way home from OR, our camper got an ouchie too, it is in the fix up shop now.

It is a great picture of Grady in his forever home with his kiddies.

Tires worry me so much. On our trip to Mammoth Cave, we passed many TT along the way with blow outs. I always wondered how we would really know if we had one. That is why we replaced our new tires right after we got the Rockwood that we have now. I read too many posts about tires and it scared me! Like others said, campers can be fixed, but boy they are expensive.
Glad that Grady made it home!!

OMG. I read about your tire blow out and hitting a telephone pole all in the same breath and had a vision of the truck hitting the pole head on or the trailer swaying with the pole totally smashing in the side of it. Glad that wasn't the case.

Nice to see that Grady has a nice forever home. It is great that he settled in so quickly. What is with the blue spots on his tongue - maybe there is some Chow in his heritage.

You know that was the strangest thing. When Grady came to the house I didn't notice the spots on the tongue, but after he had been around Suzie for a while it was then I noticed it. Suzie will bring out most anything in anyone.

Notice anything about Suzie's tongue?

Okay, now let's talk about Charlie. I went to the Vet's office this morning to pick up Charlie and had a brief talk with Dr. Ford. She has consulted with Dr. Jim and he examined Charlie' leg and the X-ray and made this comment. "I am surprised he is able to used that leg at all. The joints have almost fused together at the elbow and ankle and the bone in the lower leg is very weak." This according to Dr. Ford.

Right now Charlie is doing good and walking around without too much trouble, just as happy as he can be.
