Good morning everyone. We are back home and now getting ready for the regular routine. Sue and I enjoyed the trip so much to Virginia that we want to go back again some time.
I really didn't get the impression there was a problem with higher fuel prices as each night the campground would fill up as people traveled in their expensive RV's. There were many high dollar rigs coming in each evening pulling their little cars behind them. There was also the longest 5th wheel there I have ever seen. An Air Stream club gathered there during the week with some very nice units as well.
If you are ever in the Fort Chiswell area and looking for a place to stop this campground is very nice. It has an very nice large dog walk area that is kept clean and pretty. There are many places to eat and sights to see that you could be busy for a few days wandering about exspecially on some of the back roads, the mountains are beautiful. Some of the stores that really are nice to visit are not in town but out a ways. It's a place you have to visit and take in all the area to really get the rustic charm that is found there. Every where we went the people were nice and told us a bit about some of the history of the mountains and how people lived years ago when it was first being settled.
I hope some of you will get a chance to visit Wytheville, Virginia some time and just enjoy the people and the history of the area.

I just saw where Old Fella is 572 well behind Stars and Girard Life Savers that operate in our area. I thought we were 177 last night?

The 177 was the rank among Georgia organizations only. You are now 18th in Georgia and 529th overall.
