Hi Tuli!

The internet has made distant locations more personal and desirable to visit! Almost like having "home" waiting for you while on the road.

Very true Pete. Lots of places and people I would like to see.

~~~~
Ugh! I ache ALL over. Was pulling old roots today to prepare area for some planting this weekend of some bushes we ordered to replace the old privet hedge we pulled out the other week. That was a spur of the moment decision to do when the tree guys were here. They offered to do it at a good price. The hedge was about 40 years old and way out of control with vines crushing it. Never was sure, however, if it was ours or neighbors so we went over and checked and yep, they belonged to the neighbor. He said he didn't care so we paid to have his bushes removed. My driveway area is now all naked and exposed and I can no longer run out in my jammies to put the trash cans out in the a.m.! lol!! The shrubs we will be putting in are basically to hide Tiffiny and they won't call all the way down to the street like the old ones did.....
Oh well, good clean work. Hopefully will help me lose another couple of pounds! And, as hubby says, I just love playing in the dirt!
Tuli - I'm going to feel your pain in a few weeks! The weather is just starting to cool off here, and in a few more weeks, I'll probably do a big yard trim and clean up around here, too.
Even though you feel achy and sore, try doing some stretching. Nothing major, just like you would do before/after a workout at the gym. Stretching will help loosen tight muscles after playing in the dirt!
Hope everyone is doing well!
Things are good here. I've got a for sale sign on the camper in the storage lot and have received a few calls. The 2-year warranty is up and with the trouble I've had with it, I'm not going to continue upkeeping it on my dime.
Hi gang!
Be safe Bill!
Pete your pictures on PPT are nice. Soooo sharp. On the fence post I see a Tick and on his back is a Chicken mite and on his back is a Red Bug!
Don't take life too seriously! It will be gone before you know it!
Thanks for checking in Bill! Travel safe and enjoy yourselves!
Thanks Al! I'm using the camera in full Manual mode now where I choose all of the settings, including focus. If the Red Bug turned out sharp, then I got it perfect!
Pete, Not surprised to hear you got a For Sale sign on the camper.
Gonna stick with the tent or looking to get something else eventually?
Bill, Glad you checked in. Was wondering how you guys were doing,
especially since you weren't feeling 100% the night prior to you leaving.
Safe, fun travel.
CoC - You are nuts! Seeing a tick on the back of a mite on the back of a red bug! LOL!
But I do agree with ya, Pete is taking some really neat photos!
BTW, love the photo of your little granddaughter.
I can't believe how old she looks in the cotton-pickin' post you posted today!
Wasn't she just born yesterday?
And Pete - I did take your advice and stretched. It helped...alot!!!
