Am I the only one who see's them lurking and snaps a picture of them?

I took this one yesterday (I did post it in another picture thread). It's the only Spartan I have ever seen, it looks like a 1955 Royal Manor, scary to think what the inside looks like.

Got a picture? Post it.

I like their air conditioning unit!!

I love Spartans...........there is a whole website devoted to them (and also ones for sale.........some in pretty nice condition too!!)
There are a few of us "vintage lovers" on here........so post away! I've started carrying my camera all the time - there's a fantastic really old Winnebago motorhome I see every time I drive out to Dodge City - (you know with the big bump sticking out the back of it)and I've found 3 scotty's in peoples' back yards around here (going to try and buy one of them come spring)
There's a really neat "wrecked" one in a salvage yard (just the front is wrecked) - I think it's called a Phasar? Again, in the spring I will stop and check it out.
Of course you are a "vintage" person too.......can't wait to join the ranks!

Here's another one with air conditioning. This TT has been sitting here for as long as I can remember.

Road Ruler,
That brings back lots of memories. Growing up, my family always had an Airstream. They pulled it with an International Travelall (I think that was the name). I wish I had some of the old photos of those days.

Road Ruler, thanks. Love the tow vehicle, probably had a 327. Love the mirrors too.

NHclassC .. Here is a pic of a Travelall with an Airstream in tow. Bet it look like the one your parents had. Scroll to #165

Travalall and Airstream

Rubiranch, yes, a 327 should have worked well. The 64 Chevies were one of the nicest from the 60's.

Spartan has its own web site dedicated to refurbishing and selling units plus just photos of different models they had back in the 40's and 50's. Here are some of the links.
