I have the Tera Flex 4 to 1 for the NP231. Still have the D30 up front with the Warn manual hub conversion, Warn alloy axles and CTM’s. I replaced my D35 with a D44 I bought on Ebay. The D44 has factory axles. Both are 4.56 ratios with ARB’s. Ain’t broke nothin’ either, but I real easy on them. I would like to have a NV3550. I also have the adavnce adapters sye and a tom woods shaft. I have the RE 4.5” short arm lift and a 1 in body lift and 1” motor mounts with BFG MT 35’s.
If you stay on the trails I mentioned, Tellico is a lot of fun. Most of the magazine coverage are photos of the really extreme stuff for extreme 4x4’s with +38”, 1-ton full width running gear and looking for body and drive train damage.

the nv3550 is real noisey! it make all kinds of noises! but i dont think my close to stock 4.0l can break it. ive sidestepped the clutch at near 5000 rpms on pavement, and it held together. it will pull the front tires off the ground in lowlock when this is done, but its real hard on tcases! lol

That would be cool...to meet the folks here on TC, plus to go down to Tellico again. Have not been there in ..... let me see...about two weeks now best I can figure.
They have done a great job on the new camping sites, both on the state line, and back down the road a little, there are a few more, one retrofitted and a new one.
I had thought about taking my class A up there but seeing some of those guys on their way out, having second thoughts. They take 3/4 of the road and then some, opposite the stream side . Think I will stay with the TC for that area. The road is narrow and winding but I have seen class A's up there (part way at least).
Live close enough (about 2 hours) to reserve a space. Not sure how many level parking places would be available per site for TCs. Wonder if a Google map of the area would work!
But, to the question, yes, would be interested.

I'm interested but do not have a off road vehicle other than the TC haulin' truck, how easy are these easy trails?
Do you have a better idea for dates yet? We're already booked for the Mid Atlantic TC Rally (April 17-20) & Ohio Valley TC Weekend (May 17-18) It would be good the weekend before or after the Ohio weekend, we could just make a week out of them.

I have had our truck and camper over the only off-road that it is possible on at the state line. It was high on the mountain above the campground that Brad is talking about. BTW... there is some overflow parking not far from the campground. I'd leave it at the blacktop/campground.
The following are from the road that I was writing about. I wouldn't take our truck and camper up there again

In the area is an sceneic highway that goes over to the motorcycle road (hwy 129)that someone else mentioned... The Dragon... 11 miles and 312 turns.
You cross here.

Although I would love to spend some time at Tellico, The time frame you are talking about would not work for me and the distance is a bit much.
You got me thinking about doing the same type of thing out West though.
