"Make someone happy and they will tell 100 people, pi** someone off and they will tell 1000 people"..This is very true here. I feel for him and his wife..

Those that brought it up are right about not hearing the other side of the story. I would be interested to hear what the dealer has to say. When we purchased our camper at Peco Campers in Atlanta, they were nothing but nice. They spent hours with us on the walk-through and everyone was sociable from the finance department to the salesperson and the service guys. One week later when we called about some warrantee problems, we were told it would be fixed while we wait. When we arrived, we were told to leave it for about 3 weeks for the work. The service department was incredibly rude and the sales people avoided us when we requested a meeting with upper management. We left quite disheartened and angry. Later, we learned that sales at a local camping show had overwhelmed the staff- no excuse for being rude but it explained why they all suddenly seemed so distracted and stressed out. In the end, we got the camper back in less than a week and they have all been overly nice to us since. They have gone out of there way to regain our business. The point is, we don't always have the whole story and everyone can have a bad day. I am still mad at them for their rudeness that one day, but I am glad I gave them another chance.

I paid almost list for the hitch and a reasonable install fee. They did a good job by my estimate at a fair but not low price. With the hitch price in the loan I can choose when it is convenient to pay extra rather than all at once at delivery.

Well, a nit: that MTRV is in Santa Fe Springs (for those trying to figure out where NOT to go).
I've bought two RVs from MTRV. I probably had better than normal sales support. I know I've had better than normal service support because I am persistent in a pleasant manner (document all issues with photos and/or videos) and have called Fleetwood customer support more than once.
I would buy from MTRV again, providing I was dealing with the right salesman/supervisor (awholes need NOT apply and both my previous sales persons are departed) and got a good price. I'd even pay a little more than I would pay at other local dealers. I know that I can get good service from my current service guy at MTRV. In fact, if I was to buy another RV in the next year or two, I would call my service guy and ASK HIM what salesman to talk to.

I would buy from them again too, if for no other reason than their salesman played a straight game with me, didn't pressure me and then provided what I would consider excellent service--that hitch was overpriced tho.

As was mentioned in this thread several times, at this time commercial posters are not permitted to post on the ORF. This has been taken up by the moderators with AGI, and at last word, AGI is considering (I repeat - considering) the opportunity for the dealers to rebut postings like this one. The issue is and always has been one of abusing the forum for advertising which we've also seen.
There has been ample opportunity for members who have had good experiences to share them with other members (the preceding two, for instance). One had been posted here about another dealer this past week with mixed responses from other members who believed that the member was actually a representative from that company.
It is very hard to find a valid middle ground where consumer and dealer would both be happy here, so until AGI completes its consideration for rebuttal opportunity from the company, it will not be entertained here.

I would appreciate any feedback that Mike Thompson's has for me.
How Merric could explain ignoring my calls and how Jeff Bailey would explain not returning my calls would be impressive and informative. And how it takes any company as big as MT to cut a check for 200 bucks for a trailer that cost over 50 grand would blow my mind. If you are "protecting" me from MT form responding please don’t worry about me.
Please let them explain so everybody that has read this forum can see how they do their business. And just a follow up it is now the 4th and there has been no delivery of that check.
Thank you all again.

We have been sold on keeping up with the Jones. More is better. The Glitz that is put out by Madison Ave. If you want to live a trouble free life take my advise and downsize. Get a big tent and a bigger rain tarp just in case. Not much can go wrong with a tent. If it breaks, wears out, molds or whatever just throw it away and buy another. Live worry free. Let the suckers pay $100,000 for a motorhome. You will be closer to nature and away from the crowds if you take up Backpacking. Just one mile into the woods is peace and relaxzation on a shoestring. Take a camera with you because you will see more wildlife and have more of an adventure than you ever could smeeling the fumes and living the RV life...or dear I don't mean to say that ALL people should take up this activity, or no...just the ones that can walk and that means almost everyone. Yes get up off your butts and take a hike. There is nothing like the freedom of chosing your own camping spot away from it all. Like the old TV commercial use to say, "Try it you'll like it".

Blackrockjoe,
what does your post have to do with the topic of this thread?
