I was told I could get a exhaust brake on my 2001 7.3 PSD for a couple hundred $$. Anyone know of this for sure ?????

Pacbrake makes a kit for the 7.3l. not sure the details of your TV, but check this out.

I think they get welded in the exhaust pipe. Saw a 6l ford install documented in a magazine a while back and that was how it was installed.

I have an exhuast brake on my F250 Super Duty from Banks an it works great. Used it a lot on our trip to Alaska. Too work right you need to get the Trans Command and Smart lock they help keep the Trans tork converter locked in so the break works better. This is more then $250.00 but worth it.

Yea a lot more than 250. I called they quoted me 2600

I have the PacBrake and the ATS converter lock up on my 7.3. You have to have a converter lock up or you my toast your trans. Here is some good info.
