Dont forget most manufacturers are in between product cycles. 2009 units are coming in a couple of months so they aren't going to be ordering 08's unless its for a buyer.
After I made my post I thought of that, maybe they are waiting to order the 09s. But the MFG must be having a sale on TTs as I have never seen so many on dealer lots before.

I'm in Yuma and the dealer's lots here are loaded with class A coaches. Perhaps it's just the location.

No matter how bad it gets, recession-wise, there's always a group who has plenty of money. Therefore, a few RV dealers who are in non-recession areas will be able to maintain their high inventories, and these are the ones we can point at, if we want to be positive

TT can make a lot look full with less overhead as well. If there is a gut of TT's you will see some great pricing. The factory only had the fraction of cash layout for a TT vs. MH so I expect better margins as well.

With the credit the way it is and not knowing how high gas prices will go and the downturn in the economy I can see why class a may be selling slow.

Yep, that's the way it is. Those who stay up on current events aren't surprised at the obvious. Tear drop TT's are the future.
Bummer.

I'm having work done on my RV in Elkhart, IN. Drppoped it off Friday. The storage yards at manufacturers are filled with TT's 5'ers, C's and A's. A lot of them are not even painted yet.

The shop I dropped off at normally has a waiting list, but dosn't now.

Hide & Watch I think it is only going to worsen.

Can they get away with putting a year model on one until after they are painted to a point say as long as the chassis was no older than 07 could they call it 08 even if the basis building was completed in June 07 but did not get sold to a dealer until Sep 08 and was then painted with the 2008 color schemes?
