HEY, anyone ever stay at Dockwiler RV park? Is it good, bad, is it OK to stay there.
We stayed at Dockwiler for a week and loved the place. Yes you have airplanes flying over during waking hours but it is on the beach and nice. It is a typical Parking lot camping area on the beach.

Quick note to say we also enjoyed our spot, but are open to just about anywhere.
Would kind of prefer to have our daughter beside us since I will be sitting up and breaking down for her next year since her Hubby will be deployed.
But, we can work that when the time comes.

Hey Mike - we've stayed at Dockweiller too. It was being remodeled (1/2) and only 1/2 open the weekend we were there. Not a bad place as Kathy said, tight spaces -- our 37' was just inside the allowable lines to be off the "road". I don't know (other than winter) whether you could stay there more than a few weeks a a time. It sure would be convenient to El Segundo though. The planes were a plus to me, I enjoy them; got tar all over our feet on the beach (by the water/shore). From our house a short hop/skip of about 40 minutes (no traffic).
