Back from 8 days in Cardiff, Wales working on a 777 and ready to do some RV'n. Their idea of RV's is WAY different than ours. (think no Class A's and tiny trailers or Class C's) Got some pictures of them and a RV dealer.
Tom may be a good bus driver but I bet he would rather be a passenger than a driver on some of those roads over there.... It is fun driving on the wrong side of the road legally though.
See some of you this weekend.

Welcome home. I can't even imagine driving on the left side of the road. It would be ok until you get to one of those round abouts, then look out.
At the FMCA rally in Indio I went to a seminar about rv'ing in Europe. You rent a Class C and caravan. It actually looked like a lot of fun, and most of Europe you drive on the right side of the road.

Yea, the class C's were smaller. No more than 25 feet at most for the really large ones. Many were closer to 15-20 feet.
From my experience, mainly the British Isles are that way in driving on the other side. Most of the rest of Europe drives on the same side of the road we do. France (and Spain)had both, the roundabouts and driving on the side we do. The good part about the cars is that the pedals are the same, gas on right, brake/clutch on left. Just the steering wheel and the gear shift lever are opposite. And actually, the roundabouts are quite efficient in the rural areas. Once you experience a few, they are actually quite easy. Even the busy ones. If there is no one at the circle, they are kind of fun to rip through. You generally don't have the traffic back ups that traffic lights make in the rural areas.

I have no problem with the round abouts, I think we need some here. It's the driving on the wrong side that makes them difficult.
You need a night light on your motor home when it's parked in your drive way. I was bringing Tyler home from the CSF baseball game the other night and almost missed the turn. If you had a light on your motor home, it would make it much easier for me to see the turn.
