Hi All!!

Well sad to see the Grandkids go, boys 6 & 8. They left Sunday after their Mom and Dad came out for a short vacation and to take them home. We have them all summer so they can escape the Texas skeeters and humidity. Ahh but now we can watch the news and not Sponge Bob Square Pants, Hannah Montana or Josh & Drake..We were starting to get too well versed on the lives of teenage idols.

But we will miss their constantly dirty little faces, playing shark and minnow in the pool and making s'mores over the firepit at night.

We all got out to quite a few places from Florida to San Diego and lucky enough to have Sue and Dave over for a little bite and a campfire, when we were in San Diego,

Curzon, our 25 year old daughter whose legs are long enough to rival any flamingo goes back to Pennsylvania at the end of Aug and we were lucky enough to have her with us all summer as well - since she was between school and jobs and boyfriends. Haven't had more than a week with her since she was 19.

Going to fill the time with grownup things like Las Vegas til she leaves.

We look forward to seeing everyone again, can't make the Canyon but will be at Newport Dunes. Enjoy the rest of these lovely summer days.

Dave,

Jim & Sherri are going to Vegas. You want to give them any tips before they go?

Sure Tom,

Jim, Sherri, here is how ya do it..........

Ya stand in the middle of the casino, and listen very carefully, you will soon hear your name being called, Jim...Jim...Jim......Sheri...Sheri...Sheri, and that voice will be the one you have been waitin for, the elustrius machine that will dump hundreds of dollars your way..... oh damn, that was just the money runner telling you ta get out of the way, yer blockin the isle!!

Oh well, ya just pick a machine and pray!!!!

Hope ya all have fun!!

lol Thanks You Guys= Great advice and probably true.

We are going carry our lucky penny, Sherri's good luck Eygptian Amulet, and my lucky underwear. So if we come back loaded down with bags of silver I can really retire instead of waiting for the layoff axe to fall.

But with free booze if we gamble and some good lounge shows, a good time will be had by all.

If we win - we will be the ones towing the convertible Mercedes at the next get together-

Now, that is MUCH more than I want to know.

Jim, Sheri, It sounds like you need to bring Dave to Vegas as a good luck charm. But wait, all his good luck has been in Pechanga. It could backfire... Maybe you need to go to Pechanga instead of Vegas. They still have shows there. You know, like has been entertainers and old rock bands that are probably too old to get on stage...lol
