Tom, there is the tiny park at the end of Rincon - a Ventura county park "Faria" (shown in my signature). No reservations, but if you arrive REALLY early on Friday through the school year you can usually get a beach side spot - the beach is the breakwater (rocks) but the sound of the waves is heavenly. I guestimate there are 20-30 spots in the whole place.

Thanks all for the deep breath advice. I feel so much better now! And, it is Friday. Off to work I go. Have a great weekend and be safe out there!

Come on up Tom so that all of us up this way can come by and drink all your beer...hehe lol.
The Rincon is certainly nice, when and if you can get a spot. Another alternative is Thornhill-Broom State Park....you also park Parrallel(sp) to the coast albeit your a tad further back with but with nice sand out your door. Everyone have a Safe and Fun Holiday..

Dont' make me come up there !!

I was trying to get the name of the place for some one who posted in the Campgrounds, Resorts and Attractions forums. They had driven by it one time but couldn't remember the name of it. They want to stop there on their way from Canada to Mexico.

Hello all, we are presently in Issaquah RV park in Issaquah, WA. The weather is cold dreary and humid, but is supposed to be sunny this afternoon. We are visiting friends and relatives in the area and will be leaving in the morning, on the way to Oregon to see the kids.

We will started having fun today and will continue till the end of our vacation. The 1300 miles in 3 days was alittle much. I think tha next year we will take 4 or 5 day to get this far, and see more things on the way.

Hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend. Yesterday Rindy looked at me and said "since it's Labor day why don't you get your butt out of that chair and do a little work around here".

One of these days .........

Happy Weekend. It's almost here. We're resting up and catching up on chores around the house. Tomorrow is our "off" Friday. That redwood stain project (gazebo)? Why didn't anyone tell me to lay off? It is about 1/4 done and lattice is not fun at all. Too many little edges - AND, it is dry and taking 3 coats to look nice (almost like new). I see my future and it ain't fun.
