I know everyone is fascinated with my travels...NOT! I've arrived in Parsippany NJ for a lunch meeting...does this mean the entire trip is a "business write off"?

Gerry, I wish you safe travels, and I certainly hope you're not on the forum WHILE you're driving! Thanks again for the Wheezer CD!

I see I am late in responding based on the number of posts. Mike did a great job on hosting and it was great seeing and cavorting with the entire crew. We are sorry we have plans for the Fall rally time, but I know it will be fun for all who attend. After hearing about the parade and costumes Liz ALWAYS wins with, I am going to try and make 2009 if it happens to be in on the "scene". It was wonderful being with such a great group and Karen and I are looking forward to our next adventure together. Wander on !!!!

Here's my picks for sites for a future NES rally possibly at Camp Waubeeka:
32 sites down by the Pavilion:
Sites N1 to N10 - 10 Sites facing Mohawk Trail
Sites M1 to M12 - 12 Sites facing Mohawk Trail
Sites L44 to L53 - 10 Sites facing Lake Drive
This gives you one or two group sites available around M6 - M7, not even sure they would be necessary with the group fire ring and pavilion behind N1 & N2 and the open recreation field all behind N1 - N10 sites.
Camp Waubeeka Site Map Link
Rally rate pricing, site availability before or after Memorial Day weekend, fire pit usage and pavilion availability/usage costs are also considerations...any comments?
Also, LocoMikey can't walk back and forth to his house, he must stay all weekend and bring his pets with him...it's just not fair!

Good Morning!
Gerry, Mike, Steve and Jim check your PM box
Well after reading all of the posts about the MSR, it looks like things will continue to perpetuate to the fall rally! lol
For the time being will this thread be the jibber jabber spot until the Official Fall Rally post is up and going? It only seems fitting.

I know that some people had difficulty attending this past year's Spring rally because of the late May date. My suggestion is to go back to the original time frame of having it in early May. If you could stay away from Mother's Day weekend, that would be better, I think.
I would want to make sure that we would have exclusive rights to that already existing group fire pit and to the pavillion if we have to pay for their use.

I would have to believe early May would be okay, especially since they don't have a pool anyway. Mother's Day 2009 is May 10th, Memorial Day 2009 is May 25th.
