I have to say that camping at Indian Hollow was the best time my kids had this summer. They are still talking about it. Not only didnt they have video games and cell phones we removed the tv's from the camper. The best part they liked was tubing down the river. To hear them now still talking about it makes carrying a load of******back to Deer Run in our tanks well worth it.
Steve we're in for next year.

Haven't heard from Jay in a while. I wonder how the Griswalds are doing.
Gordie, thanks for the comments. I'm more optimistic that something can be worked out, especially with the campground Gerry found down the road.
I have a training class in Albany in September (25th, 26th). I can make some stops and check some places out by then.
On a unrelated note, our 2nd pellet stove was delivered yesterday. This is the one that will go into the fireplace as an insert. The plan to have my full oil tank last the winter is coming together!

Motorhome trip tomorrow but only for awning replacement estimates...everyone wants to see it before quoting...looks like the entire assembly replacement will be around $2,000, insurance picking up over $1,000 deductible...not a fun trip!
Poolside now after a paying service call to Parsippany NJ and back...bowling tonite!
The pheasant has been MIA today, not sure if she moved on or has there been a hit on her?

Gerry, I have disassembled and reassembled my awning on my old camper a couple of times. Replaced fabric, took apart spring mechanism and lubed, etc, You can buy just the tube and replace yourself if you have that disposition. It would probably be around 300 or 400 (guessing) for that part. The hardest part is reloading the spring, a pair of lock jaw pliers and a little care.
Good luck.

Hey Gerry,
If all it needs is tube and fabric, it can be done for WAY less than that. Tube runs 250 range and fabirc about 300. Plus 3 hrs labor or so. PM me if you would like me to look into it for you. ou could always come up for a weekend and we can install right in the CG!! Do it all the time!
