What a week so far, sunday night at Trap Pond State Park, PopTart, one of the cats got out of the trailer, looked for him all night sunday night and most of monday. Checked out Monday afternoon and went home. Left information at the ranger station about the cat. After getting home and unpacking the 5'er, we were already thinking about returning to keep looking. Denise being off work for a while asked about taking the camper back that same night (monday) and she would stay and look for the cat. She found online reservations for the park pretty open till the weekend due to the holiday there was only 2 sites availabe, only 1 we could fit. So at 730pm we re hooked up and headed for the park. Set the 5'er up for Denise and Connie by 10:30pm,(hate seting up in the dark), only 3 other campers in the entire campground. I spent the night till about 4:30am and headed back to home and work. No luck so far finding the cat, but getting alot of support form the rangers and fellow campers. Actually posted something on another post, and one of the fellow RV netters (Weathershak)that lives close went over to help look. The campground is going to be full friday and saturday, the checkin area has pictures of the cat and is telling everone checking in about the missing cat. I'm heading back friday evening...
What a week.....

Sorry to hear about PopTart but so glad so many are willing to help look for him. I can't imagine the feeling...but I'm sure he'll return safe and sound. Keeping you all in mind. Best of luck....

I am sure Jamie thanks you. Poor guy had to work late on his birthday. We are headed to Letchworth state park in New York tomorrow night. We are camping with 3 other families and making Thanksgiving dinner (it is Thanksgiving in Canada this Monday). There is also a craft show there this weekend and it is supposed to be beautiful weather. Can't wait to go - Jamie & I both need a break. Have a good weekend everyone.

No luck yet, someone called her last night and said they seen a gray cat on their back deck, then he ran off, and not 2 minuets later someone said they seen a gray cat over by one of the bath houses in the campground. Must be 2 gray cats, its about a mile between the two, but at least one of them could be him.... I'm heading down tonight... we have till sunday afternoon to find him.. but have flyers out all over and a lot of support from the campers / rangers and locals...
