With RBOB continuously going down at this time, I chuckle at the masses fueling up at Murphy and squeezing the last ounce into tank. I guess they don't realize that tomorrow the price will even be lower.

We started week off at $3.36 and tonight at $3.07. With RBOB at $1.80 close today we might have $2.60+/- soon.

The lower the price the more it hurts the middle eastern suppliers. Iran doesn't like.
Can you imagine what they ("The Middle East") would do if we only used domestic oil and told them to Go Fish?

Do you think China, India and all the other countries don't get oil from the middle east ? We imported 66.19% of our oil last year so how many years do you think it would take to stop importing oil ?

Today gas is down to $2.91 and diesel $3.61 here in NJ.

So the prices have beat your best estimate of November 1 by almost a month !!...any idea as to when diesel will drop to $3 !!

Diesel prices go up for the winter here in the north-east so forget about $3 diesel this year.

Considering your post of 10-10 stating diesel was now $3.44 (down $.17 from 10-6)....$3 mark is looking pretty good

Maybe this will cause people to start buying those low mpg SUVs again and make small cars a bargain again. Yes, I am in the market for a small car (for DD#1's college car).

One can hope...After the 70s oil crisis, my Dad picked up a bargain on my college car. He still kicks himself for not picking up 4 of the Dodge Colts....

Oil up $4.00+ today and RBOB(gasoline) up 12 cents today. Still volatile and people better not expect low gas prices to last.

Oil now at $75 a barrel, and the stock market is in the gutter..........nice correlation. Where's the banter and celebrations!
