Can anybody recommend a good RV park at Lake Tahoe for a 39 footer. Not Zephyr Cove as it is booked for the week we will be there.

Try the one run by The City Of South Lake Tahoe. On the lake, has some full hook ups, some just water & electric, some no hook ups. Beautiful spot.

Camp Richardson on the southwest shore is super nice and takes big rigs. Since Tahoe was just judged the most popular vacaction destination in "northern" United States, it might be too late to get accomodations.

Parks and casino parks are available in Carson City and Reno and Tahoe is 45 minutes away by dinghy.

There's a private one in Tahoe Vista on the North Shore that is across from a lakeside park. There is a boatramp right there too but it is too shallow right now- the water may come up more if there is more spring runoff. I think I've seen 39 footers in there.

There is a usable boat ramp nearby at Lake Forest.

If you do not need hookups, try Fallen Leaf Lake Campground. It's a beautiful park run by the BLM (I think). They can handle big rigs. Reservations are a must.
