I'm with all you ladies, overheated!
I have noticed that if I eat sweets, or any carbs at night, I start flashing right away. Of course that doesn't necessarily stop me from eating my nightly sweets!

Well, I have been taking this supplement for 3 months. Symptoms have been so bad that I called my doc, 4000 miles away, and he didn't want to prescribe anything without seeing me. So, I doubled the supplement and the symptoms got worse. I have decided to quit taking the stuff. I think I am being punished for being the meanest woman on earth.

I love it that this one's shown up again!!! LOL I took pills for about 6 years.(I think)...then one day just felt "that's enough".... I can still get a hot flash when I drink wine.....yes, it's NOT an allergic reaction, I'm SURE it's hot flash.....since it's a hot flash, I won't have to quit drinking it!!!!

My SIL used soy products and it seemed to help along with starting a yoga class. I have no idea how a yoga class helped with night sweats, but it did seem to make a huge difference. Somewhere I saw/read they make a mattress pad that cools instead of a heated mattress pad. Now if you could find that, it would help with the body heat! I get this stuff too but only at night and not all the time. But a lot of times I wake up so hot and sweaty, throw off the covers, roll up the jammy sleeves, hike up the shirt and then about 15-20 min. later I'm freezing and bundling myself back up! You know the "curse" we go through monthly is bad enough (sorry guys) but to add insult to injury with menopause symptoms to end the other problem! Enough already spread the joy among the menfolk!!
