I have a 2000 Pace Arrow Vision and this afternoon the bedroom slide refused to work. We've been on the road for 5,000 miles and haven't had a problem. It tries to go out, moves 2 inches and stops. I have to push it while wife runs the switch, to get it back in. The top is snug, but the bottom doesn't close completely. Any suggestions? Oh, by the way, I can't see where to get to the mechanism to see the slides. On the dining room slide, it is easy to see the rails and cogs underneath. How do you find them on the bedroom slide?

Either something is jamming it, alignment problem, or your motor is on the blink. Contact the manufacturer.

The motor and drive, is under the bed. You have to raise the bed and remove the bottom of the storage under the bed. It is the same as the living room slide except narrower. In ours, the slide must be out about 10" to raise the bed, as the end of the bed is under the wardrobe. You must release the brake, and them you can use a 1/2" dive to move it in or out and reset the brake. This is a real B***h, espically if the slide will not move out enough to get the bed raised.

Good luck

Have you checked continuity on the switch? Had a problem with my slide--just started working intermitantly--checked continuity--checked OK--I rapidly excercised the swith by turning it on and off a few dozen times--problem solved--the contacts inside the switch were sticking--very common in cheap low amperage switches

Ours also had a switch problem and when DH took cover off and put a tester on it to check if it had power we heard a click from under the bed and it then worked! Ours was stuck in the open/out position at the time. That was about 9 months ago and it hasn't had a problem since. We purchased a spare switch in case it happens again, we will replace. Of course, your problem could be with the gears, drive, motor under the bed. Good luck.

Our slide quit working and all it was is the fuse that is located by the in/out switch.

Have you checked to see if you have all the conditions correct, in park, emergency brake on, ignition on or engine running, fuses?

Sometimes we overlook the obvious.

Good luck
