I dont see anywhere in the OP where they knew they had new neighbors. I stand by my post, condemnation without any of the facts. I will let the polite comment go if it was directed at me, if not, polite has nothing to do with it, they still may not know they have neigbors.
rude /rud/ Pronunciation Key - –adjective, rud·er, rud·est.
1. discourteous or impolite, esp. in a deliberate way: a rude reply.
2. without culture, learning, or refinement: rude, illiterate peasants.
3. rough in manners or behavior; unmannerly; uncouth.
The way I read the definition they have to know the behavior bothers someone ( in a deliberate way ) for it to be rude. Perhaps they don't know, or don't consider the behavior rude.

I had a similar experience, woke up one morning, walking through the camper and standing against my kitchen window is a women who was tenting next to me plugging in her cell phone charger. Let her know this is not how we behave in cg's.

So, tell us, how did you handle the expense of that cell phone charger, second mortgage, sell your kids?
Man, you sure had a problem!
so she was too cheap to pay for a site with electricity and she "stole" yours. probably also "camps" behind wal-mart and plugs into one of their outside outlets.

Relax. As long as you have the power you need for the price you paid, drop it. There's some pretty stupid and inconsiderate folks out there. It's probably not worth your blood pressure. And the one big thing about RVing is, you can pick your neighbors. They will move soon and you will too. Have another adult beverage if you par-take or a soda.

My bet is in for probably 10 or more.....mods are pretty busy today deleting all the posts from the spammer!
And my last 2 cents about all of this is, I think this forum member puts it all into perspective.

Lots of people also keep referring to "MY property", "MY site", "MY post". You do not own this property, the campground does. Just because you rent a site that does not mean the power post belongs to you. The campground has ultimate say on who can plug into what post. You rented a 50amp site, you have 50amps, the campground has provided their end of the bargain. They can let anyone they want plug into the 20amp circuit.
And for that matter, unless you had your site surveyed with property lines drawn, they can let anyone they want park on "YOUR" site. I have never seen a campground hand me a map with "property lines" clearly defining what space "belonged" to me. Technically, with the campground managers permission I can walk up and plant a tent right next to your RV. Now I realize this would be bad business practice, but they could do it.

If it bothered me and it DOES NOT I'd go ask at the office why. I'll bet there is a good reason why. Unfortunately the office did not tell the OP about it when he checked in. Maybe if he still had his NY tags they would have.

What we mean when we say ours, mine, is directed to the other campers not the CG itself. If the cg owner comes to me and says my neighbor can use the extra outlet, and as long as I am not using it then that is fine. The op said the cord just appeared with out anyone coming to him about it. And I always use the extra outlet for my electric skillet.
