I have a chance to get this generator for around $300.00.

Coleman Power Mate Plus 1750 watt generator

Do any of you have any info on this one? I do not want to spend a lot as most of the times that the wife is with I will be plugged in to shore power. I would like to have this for winter back-up when camping without easy access to shore power to recharge the battery, or even around the house for power outages.

Any information would help.

I have this same one, just used it the other night when we had a power failure. Works great, but is very very LOUD. Would not bring to a campground unless could put it far away.
