we have an 08 Duramax, and get 12.5 towing at 70 mph. Never any smoke during a regan at all. I agree with the other post, you need to find a new dealer.

I have an 08, how do you know when you're in the regen process? I have not been able to tell, at least I don't think so...

New member, one post - Gotta be a troll!
I don't know of ANY dealer who would say that is normal and turn the customer away.
The way work has dropped off in dealerships due to way reduced warranty work (yes GM vehicles have got better!) most dealers welcome work they can bill GM for!
Chances are we won't hear any more.........................
