My recommendation. Do not use Simple green on your rv. While it is a great cleaner, it can damage aluminum surfaces and cause permanent streaking of decals. It will actually etch aluminum. Unfortunately I know first hand. It did not harm the fiberglass covered sidewalls of the rv, but it damaged the surface of the lower aluminum trim on our Sunline. I will have to repaint the area to repair it. Though Simple Green smells nice, is suppose to be enviromentally safe, it is a powerful cleaner, I think too powerful for many uses. BTW, including engine compartment cleaning.

For Spic and Span, I heard you should use the powdered kind, it is hard to find.. I actually used the left over bleach and liguid soap mixture I made for the awning and it did a nice job....
