Had a close call the other day, The DW's uncle told her how much gas was costing in the states(currently both in Iraq) as we were researching to buy a toy hauler(towing questions for someone looking to buy). SO for a bit there it was 'heck no, we can't afford gas, so we would never use it. We we are still looking and found some smaller, lighter trailers that she loves now, so the search and re-search continues.

But this made me think......how is this affecting all those great people who provided me guidance before?

Has the current price of gas hindered how much you use your RV?

I explained to the better half that what we pay extra in gas we would make up in savings from not having to get hotels and eat out three meals a day.

So how about it? looking to hear from you all

Nope, full-steam ahead for now though we have no trips planned until September due to the heat here in Texas.

No, we just decided to eliminate all the unnecessary expenses like food, medicine and clothing. Give up RV-ing? You must be mad!
