Whistler at anytime is great for teens and adults. Many of the activities are supervised for teens (ie mountain biking / kayaking etc with cool instructors oops coaches). For parents there's also lots to do while the kids are busy. In addition there are lots of family activities.
Whistler is one big amusement park for the outdoor enthusiast.
Also, the prices really don't go down much until October when the weather changes.
The RV Resort is close to town (easy 10 minute bike ride) and does have a free shuttle as well. If you're coming in the summer I would make reservations as it fills up daily and usually only has overflow parking later in the day.

Last time I looked at a map, they have not moved the provincial boundries, and Jasper and Banff are in Alberta.

Lots of people make that mistake, even if they ARE from BC, but they are national parks so I guess they belong to BC too eh.

jsrore,
PM me and I'll be able to give you any information you need. I would definitley make reservations at Riverside. Also, Whistler is busy most days winter and summer. Lots of events and concerts.
