With the IBC (GM trks) the 12volt power does not come hooked up from the factory or dealer and sometimes they don't even put the 40 amp CB in place, nor do they supply the 8mm nut for the post to hook the correct wire up to.
With the IBC the correct wire is ty-wrapped to the large bundle of wires directly under the master brake cylinder. The wire stuffed behind the battery on the drivers side is for an aftermarket brake controller feed. The rest of the wires for an aftermarket brake controller are tapped up under the sterring colume.
If you get the truck camper option (for slide-in) the wires again are not hooked up, instead they are bundled and ty-wrapped where the bed and cab come together on the drivers side next to the frame.
Most dealers don't even have a clue as to what wires go where and where to find them in the first place.
