That whole class vs. Type thing is funny. Guess it started with folks feeling they were denigrated by being "less than" an A. Type is a non-judgemental term. Silly, but it gets some folks going.

I have an A now, but for years had a TC and felt left out of FMCA. To join your rig MUST be a motorized coach, all in one. No TT's 5ers, or TC's. Never understood other than the logistics of expanding the rallys and covering more types in the magazines. You can always do a better job with a smaller focus.

Our dealer automatically enrolls you in the FMCA as well as most other groups your rig qualifies for. First year on them, renewals up to you.

My black and white plaques arrived within 3 weeks of purchase of coach, magazines right on schedule. My folks have been members for years. Best MH mag out there.

Have you gone to the FMCA website and looked at the benefits?

I think if you do you will decide to join.

Who really cares what type of vehicle you have. Some people have way to much time on there hands to complain ! If you don't like it don't join, but do not tell someone not to join because your not sure what type of motorhomes you have. I have always treated all campers the same no matter what kind of unit they have. Life is way too short....

Bounder, my objection has NOTHING to do with what kind of RV you have. It actually has nothing to do with RVing period. It is FMCA taking a politically correct approach to their journalism. I am annoyed by all the PC stuff in this country and really don't like it when it comes to RVing where, as a rule, most everyone accepts everyone else no matter what they go camping in. We, like many on here started out with a tent, went to a TC, then a popup, then a CLASS C. Just because I now have a CLASS A, doesn't mean I am any better than I was before. Like I said, NOTHING to do with RVing, just mis-guided pseudo journalism.

The older I get, the less impressed I am with lifetime warranties.

I just signed up online yesterday!

I have seen the plaques and saw a lot when traveling this summer, so I looked them up on their website. They have some great benefits and the cost was reasonable. Someone had said $30, but another poster was correct in that they are $45 for the first year and $35 after that.
