If you are worried, E-mail Norcold and ask'em or rent a U-Haul
And how many of us have seen boxes with arrows that were sitting every way "but" with the arrow "up"
E-mail to the manufacturer is your best bet as stated by wa8yxm.

When in doubt, listen to Doug Rainer- I may have disagreed with him once, but I cannot remember anytime when he has been wrong.
The installation instructions say to tilt the refrigerator back and forth and side to side to speed initial startup time, but there is zero problems with transporting them in any orientation, unlike a compressor based model.

A house hold refrig has oil in the base of the compressor and it is circulated with the FREON. Also it passes through a capiliary tube that acts as the TXV. The reason you don't want to lay a domestic refer down is that the oil will flow up the suction and discharge tubes and if the refer is started up without a 24 hour sit time the oil may not be back in the bottom of the compress, and you will burn up the windings.
RV refer's use amonia and do not have that problem as there is no compressor and no oil.
Therefore transport it any way you like and if you are still a bit amprehensive then let it sit for a day before you turn it on.

I let it sit about 4 hours, then I just couldn't stand it anymore; had to turn it on.. There were no "warnings" that I saw and the fridge lit up right away; guess I'll know tomorrow AM ehh...

As an rv tech, when we replace a cooling unit(the workings of the fridge) we lay the fridge on it's front. Normally the time it takes to put the fridge back into the cabinet, make the connections, and test the lp system for leaks(extremely important step before trying to turn on fridge)it is ok to turn it on.

Welp.. all's well. 33 degrees in fridge and 7 degrees in the freezer. Currently set at number 6, out of 9. Thanks for all your help guys.
FYI: to anyone buying a new fridge they DO NOT come w/ door inserts, I guess their profit margin at $1000 isn't enought to include $6 worth of plastic . I'm going to install cork board on the freezer door; might be a neat place to put notes, shopping lists, etc. w/ little push pins.

Nothing to do with profit margins. All of the manufacturers install their own door panels to match the rest of the wood in the RV.
Corkboard is a great idea! I may just do that and/or a dry erase board on the freezer door.
Thanks!
