Well, how to unplug from shore power depends on the GVWR of your TV, and whether you have a long bed or short bed, and what type of slider hitch you have.
Who unplugs, i just drive away, it will unplug itself.

Same here.
If you cut the breaker on the pedestal there will not be any arcing or sparking and you will not damage the plug or receptacle. No need to cut breakers in RV.

Why is everybody cutting the breakers off? I leave the breakers attached to the post. Am I doing something wrong? I just switch them off and unplug my TT.

on anything hooking to shore power or land based power it has always been my procedure to kill the main on the rig,, boat or RV, connect or disconnect the shore power, plug in and then restore shore power, then power up the boat or in our case Camper.

Thanks for the tip, they neglected to tell you the whole story though. This tip for unplugging is only true on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. It is not necessary to switch off the breakers inside your coach on Saturdays, Mondays, and Wednesdays.
