To all those that have PullRite's SuperGlide, do you feel because your limited to pulling your own trailer and can't pull anyone else's that it came to decision factor. What I'm trying to say have you ever had to say no to somebody about moving or pulling their fiver?

Looking for input.

Thanks

What I'm worried about is, if something is wrong with my Tow Vehicle, who I'm I going to get to tow mine? Think about it.

PullRite has the adapter plates that allows non-Pullrite to tow you. Not an issue in over 4 years of using one. In addition, the unbolting of the kingpin mounted angle plate on my Jayco takes just a few minutes, and many commercial heavy duty tow trucks carry the PullRite adapter. I don't remember how, but there have been several postings here regarding a pullrite superglide hitch towing a non-superglide equipped 5er, too.

I have never been asked to move or tow anyone's trailer before.
Now with that said, I have only been in the 'fifth wheel' world for a few months. But even when I had a TT I was never approached about pulling another persons trailer.

I know Pullrite makes an adapter so that your trailer can be towed in the event of a tow vehicle breakdown but I don't think they have one that goes the other way.

What made up my mind to purchase this hitch was the overwhelming positive comments by people who use them.

No I have never ever worried that I might not be able to pull someone elses trailer. As far as getting a tow, I worried at first but not anymore. I will just deal with it if it ever happens. My plate is welded on.

It is really not a problem to tow a regular king pin trailer, I have an equipment trailer that has enough clearance that I don't need the hitch to slide, so I made an adaptor to fit between the rails so that the hitch plate does not turn, that way it is the same as any other hitch., just remember to take out the adaptor before towing with the adaptor plate that is attached to the king pin. Hope you can understand what I am trying to say.
With all that said I have had no problems in about 4yrs towing with the Pullrite.. works like a charm.. LOL

I do not plan on towing someone else's trailer, As far as my trailer being towed, The new adapter plates come off in about a minute by loosening a single jam nut and set screw. I guess if my adaptor plate fit the other persons trailer it could be done if needed?

Not to be nasty but yes, I don't care to move anyone else's trailer.
My king pin adapter can be removed with four bolts if a wrecker has to drag it home for me.
I could only ask a very good friend to tow my unit. It's the kind of thing you just don't put on anyone.
