Is there anyone on this class A forum running SplitFire spark plugs in their class A? If so, what has been your experience with them, good, bad, or indifferent? They claim to increase fuel economy and add HP! Just curious, Bagman.

I have used them in a truck I had. Wouldn't waste my money on those pieces of junk again. ACDelco or nothing.

Splitfires work. Sparks will jump a wider gap (wider gap=hotter spark) if they are jumping to a pointy place. New spark plugs are more pointy. Splitfires are more pointy. But the effect doesn't last long. It doesn't even last for more than a few dyno runs.
Buy a quality standard plug. Change it often.

The THEORY behind SplitFire spark places is an impossibility!

None of those 'special' spark plugs do anything to improve performance or increase MPG according to independent laboratory tests.
I read the report just 2-3 years ago but can't find the link now.
