Last year my wife and I bought a 99 Itasca Sunflyer DP from CW in Hamburg, NY. We have yet to take a trip or even move it without a major breakdown. When I say major I mean canceling the reserved spot ouch can't wait to see this towbill! Now I know things break and everything that is or was broken are things that I caught in my PDI, in writing, and that they were to fix but didn't. Now before you fire me up for not seeing that it wasn't fixed when I picked it up my son did the PDI I am a Disable vet and can't climb all over the rig and he got sent back to Iraq. So for the last year I have been trying to work with them to get it fixed.
The reason I am writing this is my wife and I have reach the end of our rope. We tried to go to DC for the month of June when we got it back from the last go round. We never made it lost my deposit and the coach has been with them since. I got a call last Thurs from the Service Manager wanting to know if the coach needed towed in???? I said it been they're {CW} for almost a month! I was put on hold than asked what needed done. Great But not to be out done today Tue July 8th they tell me to come get it it's done. My wife and I got to CW to get it and they {Greg,Manager/Mark Service Manager} tell me it's fixed Fleet Maintinance Replaced the Engine brake and that's where the short was.....They even put it on some machine that said it was ok 3 TIMES AND SPRAYED IT WITH WATER. But I regress my temper...I went out to get my coach, it was 91 here today, go to start my genny it started hard and my gauge show it charging batteries hard. But it was running turned on my aircons, WHICH WAS ON THE LIST, and NOTHING, nada, zip. Then I smell this ungodly smell coming from my fridge and low and behold old donuts {none of this mine} dinners and coffees from local fast food all of it decomposing. Then my wife is almost crying and I look at the GREASE ON MY WHITE RUG! Needless to say it is still sitting there and Greg plus everyone up to Mr Lemonis knows about it. Now I also get to pay for this priviledge? Funny also how there is No paper work on what they fixed on it? Hey before you rail on me I tried for over a year to work with them now I think they need to step up and do the right thing.
Thank you for letting me vent!

Mr. Lemonis,
Care to enlighten us on how you are going to address this "problem"?
Lots of inquiring minds want to know.

I will be watching this post to see how CW handles this situation. Over the years we have purchased many camping items from CW.
2003 Jayco 308fbs eagle 33' tt, towed by a 2003 Ram 3500 slt, quad cab dually, cummins diesel ho, trailer towing package, with 6 speed manual. Hauls better 1/2, 3 kids, myself, and a 2003 ez go clays car.. I have added so far, neon lights, clearance lights, back up lights, black light, lift kit, mud tires, and everything necessary to make the golf cart street legal. It's now ready to spend the winter in the garage for more mods. More neon, strobe lights, alarm, a pa system, maintance, and whatever else that comes along. This golf cart does wheelies and travels thru 7 inches of mud when need be. Two honda eu2000i gens twinned to supply the electrical power. Latest addition an 04 Honda Goldwing. I would suggest MotorHome magazine rather than Trailer Life for the reason of it being a MH. The CEO of the whole CW, MH, TL organization is a reader on this forum and if he sees this you may get some help. My last Lincoln was a vehicle like yours. I never took a trip without breaking down. By 40,000 miles the trans was out for the second time. That was in 1975 and even though my wife is a Ford retiree we have had Chrysler since that year. Hopefully you get to enjoy your RV very soon.

MotorHome magazine, Trailer Life AND RV.Net all share their forums. I found this when I did a search and I came up three times.

With all the stories I read about CW, it almost makes me glad we don't have one here, and I have never been in one. I don't think I want to go to one anytime soon, either. Seems like a good place to be FROM; as far FROM as possible!

I'd be looking for a new coach as soon as I could, or it sounds like your going to spend most of your camping time in a service lounge drinking burned coffee.

Well, I really feel bad for you. I would have been very, very upset by now. I think I would have taken all the rotting food out of the refer and taken it BACK to cw repair dept., and left it for them.
AND perhaps let everyone in the store know it as I brought it in!
I do buy a lot from cw, and living on LI, was looking for a place close enough to visit, and buy supplies.
So....I will watch this post and see what develops.
Their future customers could depend on the outcome.
