Was looking at Millpoint in E. Peoria and a Jelly Stone about 18 miles east of Peoria.

Jubilee College State Park is about 15 miles west of Peoria on Rt 150. Pretty easy on and off for I74.

Carl Spindler Marina and campground in East Peoria..... but it's pretty full this time of year.

I was born and raised in Peoria. See link below - This is probably the best location for your stay. Hospitals are just across the river via I-74. I've never stayed there (we bought our MH after we moved away) but the CG is associated with the park district in East Peoria...they always do a nice job.

Carl Spindler Marina CG.

I just noticed their website gives the street address but doesn't say which city -- it is in East Peoria.

Thanks all for your help.
I called Carl Spindler got the answering machine. Waited for about an hour.
SO I than called Millpoint Park CG. A PPA park. Got reservation.
Sure enough CS called back. They also had an opening. But was all set at Millpoint.

Now if my brothers op. goes as well as finding a CG. Things will have worked out.

I wish I would have come across this right when u asked about Millpoint. Im not sure what u like, but I was VERY disappointed overall. Just wasnt what I expected. Spring fed private lake? More like sespool(spelled wrong) and the the lake is actually in the trailer park that the campground is connected to. The trailer park beside the campground isnt horrible but if you drive thru the whole trailer park it gets pretty nasty. They are trying to clean this place up and make it nice but I wouldnt recommend going there until that takes place. I hope u enjoy it more than I did. Happy Camping fellow RVers

I would cancel and go to Spindler. Better and closer.

I am from Peoria and have stayed at Spindler.
