Hi! THANKS THANKS THANKS to all for your advice. EVERYTHING you wrote was great!
We did take along the baby's parents & fortunately, Mommy was fully equipped as the Dairy Queen (breastfeeding!
Mommy brought along some small disposable plastic diaper bags (a/k/a trash bags) for the dirty ones - they worked GREAT - very compact and convenient!
They all fit in the diaper bag pocket - much less space than the diaper genie they normally use at home.
Also, Mommy brought along a large, rectangular plastic box (like for storage) for baby's bath - used it in the bottom of the shower. It worked pretty well except everyone got a little wet!
We had a great time in Colorado - it's so beautiful there. We stayed at the Canon City / Yogi's Yellowstone RV Park & saw the Royal Gorge & then stayed at Tiger Run in Breckenridge. The Breckenridge Alpine Slide was closed this summer so we drove to Winter Park to participate in the activities there including their Alpine Slide. We also shopped and ate in Breck.
Beautiful area!
THANKS AGAIN! Janice

For anyone who camps with infants or toddlers. My wife and I take our now 15 month twins rving every chance we can. We have discovered a great thing made by kidco called a sweet pea pod. This is great for night sleeping and day napping. They also make a great tent to keep the bugs away while outside.

When we took ours camping as babies we brought a dark colored, thick, long sleeved onsie pj outfit.....with the feeties that they could crawl in the grass in. That way if they get dirty you can unzip that and take it off and shake it out. We brought a baby back back and one of those mule water packs. We'd take a hike and she'd suck on the water tube the whole way in the back pack. Everyone on the hike would say "That's the way to go" By the end of the hike her diaper was very full.....she staye dhydrated and loved it. With my son we hiked all over Yosemite that way too.

Lot of good tips but one question. The only thing I can't figure out is warming the bottle thing. The breast are defective.. jury still out of the rest.. so that's out. We have a thermos that we use alot at home. The only thing I can think of is a portable stove and kettle.. anybody? This is going to be our first big trip looking foward to it.

You can warm a bottle up pretty quickly by sticking it in your armpit. Works for boobjuice, so I assume it would work for formula.
You could also buy a bottle warmer that plugs into your car's cigarette lighter. I think they sell those. I've never looked closely at that section.
