I’m researching RV’s and am considering both a Class A and Class C. Two main requirements I have are to keep the length to 32 feet or less (less is better) and to be able to sleep 4 adults comfortably. With the Class C the cab over bunks are large enough for two adults, although I guess climbing up and down is not much fun.
My question is are there any Class A models 32 feet or less that will sleep 4 adults comfortably. I’ve seen some dinettes and sofas that convert to beds that would work for kids, but are too short or narrow for two adults.
Thanks for any advice you can offer.

There are models with sofas that convert to usable adult beds. Take a look at Winnebago's Rest Easy (tm) sofa. It is not available in entry models, but I know it is available in the Voyage, which as recently as 2005 had a 31' rear bedroom floorplan.
Other manufacturers should have something similar. Not everyone offers only the jack knife sofa. Most offer something at least like a residential hide-a-bed (probably also a trademark), if they have a living room slide that gives it room to pull out.

Check this one out. It is a Rexhall S300/L300. It is about 1 foot bigger then you might be looking for. Pretty sharp unit. http://avwebmaker.hypermart.net/rexhall/features3.html#l300

the only sofa that converts to a sleepable bed is a magic sofa bed from Bradd and Hall. certainly no standard jack knife will work, and any cheap sofa bed will need additional "help".

Sounds like a class C would fit your needs better to me.

Thanks for the info.
Are there RV manufacturers who use the magic sofa bed from Bradd and Hall in their small Class RV's?

My F-I-L has a 19 foot Winnebago class A, that will sleep 6. It is on a Dodge Chassis with a 318 engine. Of course it is 33 years old, and still original interior. The paint is worn thin in some areas from The turtle waxing it got every year.

I think that Newmar offers a MSB.
