What is the difference between a Hybrid and a Pop-up?

A hybrid is a Travel Trailer with Pop Up like fold out bunk ends.....

...while a popup has a roof that folds or cranks up & down, and (usually) has tented bed ends that pull out after the roof is up. (Aliners/Chalets don't have the tented bed ends but are clearly popups. Some people think HiLos and Trailmanors are popups, but they are a special kind of expanding travel trailer, IMO.)

Huge difference... a pop-up is just that... tent trailer, flat when towing... what you think of as a pop-up... don't know what else to call it.
However, a hybrid looks like a regular travel trailer, albeit usually shorter, that my have one, two or even three tent ends... but still has the normal travel trailer amenities like a full bathroom and kitchen.

Very true
I still have fond memories of tents and P'ups,kids were so young and easy to please but i sure don't miss all those coolers and an hour of setup time.

My kids called the old camper a pop-up camper.
They call the Roo a pop-out camper.

Big pop-ups sell for as much as $18,000 or $19,000. Don't think they're cheaper!
