Today, while travelling east on the Trans Canada, slowly making our way back to Ontario, I noticed a sign that said "trucks stay in right lane" ( I happened to be in the right lane, pulling the 5er). As i drove further there was a post with cameras/sensors all over it with a speed bump type of feature across the right lane. I drove over it then lights signs started flashing "Pull truck into weigh station". It all happened so fast and I was not prepared, so I did not pull in, but rather drove on past! Nobody followed us or pulled us over. Does this apply to comercial vehs only in New Brunswick? I am wondering if because of the post with the cameras, will I recieve something in the mail when I return home? Can anyone shed some light on this?
