The other day had something strange happen. Had been towing about 30 miles then when I turned on the right blinker everytime the blinker came on the tt brakes would activate. when I was pulling off the road when I would apply the truck brakes the tt brakes would lock up. After I stopped I thought the plug may have wiggled loose everything looked fine. When I got back in the truck everything worked fine. I was about 20 miles from home so we went on. About 10 miles from home at a stop light a car pulled up beside me and told me my right stop light was out, when we got home I pulled the bulb and it was fine. Now the right side tail and stop light don't work on the trailer. the plug on the truck and pigtal look fine. What could it be? Thanks for your help Vance

also check the brake/blink bulbs for corrision in the sockets. This will cause the current to flow to another bulb for ground.

I had the same thing happen. I don't know what you tow with but I have a 2005 Chev 2500 Duramax Diesel and the tow package has a separate set of fuses. There is a 10 amp fuse that controls the right side blinker and brake light on the tow vehicle, truck lights worked fine. I burned the fuse out when towing my boat trailer and accidentally shorted out one of the wires on the boat which blew the fuse. Put a new fuse in and everything works great.
