Just got back from the Winnebago Grand National Rally. First time we went. Had a great time. DW took the "ladies only" driving class and found out that driving an RV wasn't the hard thing that she thought it was. I actually got her to drive ours for a little bit.

Just before we left for the Rally, the linkage on the Kwikee steps broke and I had to strap them up. I went to the PowerGear/Kwikee Step booth to find out if I could buy a part so that I could fix it when I got home. The Kwikee rep asked a couple questions and then asked for our site number. He sent a teck to our coach about an hour later. Twenty minutes after he arrrived, the steps were fixed -free of charge. (a very popular price). Thanks to Kwikee for good customer service.

This year had the biggest attendance in the 39 year history. Over 1300 units. There were representatives from 49 states and a couple of forigen countries. Looks like the fuel prices and the "bad economy" bogeyman aren't keeping some of us folks home.

If it's listed in the Yellow Pages, the government shouldn't be messing around with it.

Good to hear that it worked so well for you.
Our next-door neighbors just got back from it, and were quite enthusiastic. Maybe we'll go next year.
