How many of you carry more than one spare for the TT. Seems to me that as often as these tires blow having only one spare on the rear bumper is a real problem.
I blew out a TT tire on a trip one evening last year and when I pulled into a nearby Fleet Farm (or something like that) they didn't have what I needed and were about to close anyway. Seems a big inconvenience if you blow a tire and then have to start scurrying around trying to find another one and put the trip on hold.
I didn't want to fill the back of my excursion with wheels so I made a bracket to go between the inside of my TT frame (which was 66.25 inches wide) and have 2 complete spare wheels mounted on it. They stick out only a couple inches below the bottom of the frame so they don't cause any clearance issues. So now I have 3 counting the one on the back bumper as well.
I have another complete wheel so I will make another bracket and take the one off the rear bumper and put two more under the trailer. Then I will have 4 complete spares mounter under the trailer.
Anyone ever see spares carried under the trailer?

On our Tundra TT, the spare is carried under the trailer A-frame. It is raised and lowered by use of a winch and cable setup, similar to my GM pickup's spare tire setup. This may work for you if your tire will fit in this space. I have also seen the same setup mounted inside the rear frame rails on some TTs and fivers.

The reason so many TT's, 5vers and MH's have tire problems is because the tires get too hot from being overloaded and/or under-pressured. Most RV manufacturers put the smallest & least expensive tire on the RV that they can get away with.
Instead of carrying multiple spare wheels & tires, we have wheels & tires that have LOTS of reserve capacity. The most heavily loaded tire is carrying 2350#, but the tires are rated for 3500#.

I have found that after many blow outs on our TT that Forest River put the wrong sized tires on the TT. I have since put over sized and E rated tires on it and I feel comfortable towing again.

I carry a second spare tire. Since I boondock much of the time, it's a bit of comfort to have that extra spare in case I were to lose a tire. It could be miles and hours away from the nearest tire store so I'd rather have the extra load than have to worry about where to find a replacement.
Good luck!

No argument with anyone about using more tire than the load calls for---that's a good thing, but that won't help any if it's a road hazard that takes out a tire. Whatever your comfort zone is, take care of the tires!

I have one spare in the truck bed.
The guy I got the trailer from 2 years ago. says he never had and never needed a spare.
I got all new tires and a spare..
I have thought of the benefits of carrying a 2nd spare..
