I am thinking about purchasing a 2005 Kodiak 23BH. Soliciting opinions about Kodiak/Aerolite in genreal, 2005 hybrid in particular. Any advise would be much appreciated. This will be our first camper. Camper seems to be in good condition with lots of extras. Owner will not budget from $14,800.

i paid less than that almost 2 years ago for a brand new 2007 Roo 23SS!
if it's a private owner, they probably think it's worth more than it is. NADA shows the Cub 2005 23BH/$9,130-$11,000. the 2005 Kodiak version is $9,260-$11,150.
these prices are based on MSRP prices.
so they are $3,500 over high retail.

I like my Kodiak it is a 2005 16ft I only paid 13,500 for it new in 2005 so the price looks a little steep to me.

We've been happy with our 2006 Cub 23BH. Feel free to ask specific questions.

Price seems very high. We paid around 15 with almost all options, including the bike rack, and the WDH in Sept. of '05.

I paid 17,000 for a new 07 23BH this past spring. It has the Thule hooks on the side--but did not come with any Thule accessories. The dealer added the WDH and sway bar for free. Out model also has the old style tents--not the new bubble looking tents.

We love our camper but that price to way out of line you could get one off the lot in my neck of the woods for about 1000 more and it would be new. Good luck in your search.

I paid 16K for my 2006 Kodiak 235 last April. I have the yellow thermarest
(bubble) bunkends. Then is was a $1000 option, now I guess on the new ones it is standard. I love the added height in the bunkends and the 235 floorplan.
