Considering the chassis could have sat for more than a year before being started and run through the assembly line. I'd fire it up and let it idle till warmed up , then go for a drive. I don't think changing the oil again is necessary, and would be wasteful. Farm rigs set for longer periods with no harm done to them, and I don't know a farmer who will change oil when they park a rig and then do it again when they start it.

Did you store your rig with a full tank? Did you add fuel treatment to stabilize the fuel prior to letting it sit? If not, check your fuel for contamination.
I let my diesel rig sit with half a tank for two hot months without any fuel treatment. The condensation and heat were perfect conditions for algae to grow and clog up my fuel filters. I didn't discover this until I was climbing a long hill in the mountains.

Interesting information. I did not know that the electronic controls did not allow the engine to start with low oil pressure. Do you know if all electronically controlled engines are set up this way? (autos as well as rv types).
Sorry for the off subject post.
Yes, many cars built by GM from 1995 on up have such a system .

Cummins recommends for marine engines that sit longer than 30 days that the engine is cranked with out fuel until there is oil pressure, and then turn on the fuel and allow the engine to start.
Steve's recommendation to disconnect the power wire to the fuel solenoid will do that. On my electronic Cat I pull the ECM relay (you could also pull the ECM fuse), and I crank the engine until I have some oil pressure, then install the relay and start the engine. This makes sure there is lube oil to all of the bearings before the engine starts.
Good luck
