If you have some visqueen around, it makes it real easy to measure the windows for inserts. Tape a piece of the plastic over the windows, draw an outline of the window opening with a merker and use that as a template to make your window insert.
That's a great tip. When we had our hybrid I made cardboard templates, by trial & error method, to get a good fit. The visqueen idea sure would've saved me some time.

for some of us, it was to try and stop condensation under the mattress.
for us, it helped but didn't eliminate it. we will try some other things but it has worked for some.

Thank you Dan, I will also try it, I didn't know that it sweat under there until this last time that we camped and I was some what surprised by the condensation that was there. So, after reading this thread, I will try it, what can it hurt!!!

This all makes me laugh. I did this mod on the one stinkin bunk end of our Jayco 26L and my wife had a coronary. "It looks stupid" she says. Same thing with me clipping a tarp on the outside top of the canvas to keep off the floating ash from campfires and tree sap that is an ongoing pain. A couple weeks ago we camped in Warrens, Wisconsin, and there were three Jayco or Roo hybrids on the same lane as us. They all had Refectix on them. The wife looked at me and smiled. Is said "well, looks like we have some other stupid campers here... what is that shiny stuff on their bunks for?"
