Before I go thru the trouble of fabricating one of these (arthritic fingers/small part) do any of you know where I could buy this type of hinge?

It's pretty simple, other then the holes are offset from the other side. I've tried all the standard places (the stove manufacture, PPL, Ace, HomeDepot, Menards, internet search on hinges, etc...)

I've posted this on the "tech" board awhile back with limited results. Seems like the "Class A" guys have been around RV'ing longer, so any help would be appreciated.

It's called piano hinge. Available at Home Depot or Lowes.

Looks like a piece of Piano hinge they come in different lengths
and you take a hacksaw and cut it the length you want,

Thanks for all the input up to now, except for the fact that piano hinges have the holes across from each other (at least the ones I'm finding.) This will then cause the pop rivet heads to touch causing the hinge not to close fully.

Unless what everyone is telling me is that they make a piano hinge with offset holes, which I seem not to be able to find.

Use a piano hinge, cut to length, and drill additional off-set holes as needed? It might be hard to find one with the barrel of the hinge that has 5 segments?

Try West Marine or Boaters World or any other marine store. The hinges are available in stainless (304/316 or Monel) and some are offset to allow flush fold over at the articulation point.. You can also find stainless fastners there too.

Some times I have seen small hinges with 4 holes in each side, you could use the alternating holes. That is if you can't find the hinges you are looking for.

I said it once, I'll say it again - You guys are good. Thanks, got a marine store right down the street. Never thought of looking there.

I'll still take more suggestions in case my local marine store doesn't have it in stock.

They also make piano hinges with no holes. The one pictured looks like stainless, but almost any metal is used. The link is for ones 72" long, probably better to get a short one and drill a couple of holes.
