Hey folks, a local Rhino Liner dealer is going out of business and offered to rhino liner the roof on our Beaver for 500.00 in any color. Any thoughts?

Wouldn't that add a great deal of weight right at the highest point. Also might be an issue with that stuff baking in the sun all day.

I think it would work great. Is your roof in need of repair? The stuff lasts for years in the beds of trucks. Don't think I would use it if the roff was in good shape. I have used it in some really harsh commercial applications and been pleased with the performance. Beachball!

I have wondered for years why that stiff couldn't be used for residental roof applications.

The Rhino liner in my truck is a tough as nails. It is not as heavy as many think. It would not need to be as thick as for a truck bed. Doubt the weight per foot square would be much different than a rubber roof. Just think if you go upside down it will skid down the road with little damage LOL. If you do it let use know how it came out. If it comes in white or a very light color I would say go for it.

As a fellow Beaver owner am wondering why? You have a one piece laid up roof now. You would be decreasing your net carrying capacity and still have to maintain your seam seals. It would also make it harder to keep clean as I have it in the bed of my pick up and it is tougher to clean and keep clean than a smooth surface.
